| FINALLY got to take josie home today! my first doggie is a ~4 year old black lab mix adopted from homeward pet adoptions (same place we got the kitties). so far no real issues between her and the cats... she seems to have a "healthy respect" for them.
it'll take her some time to warm up to us all but she's already a very calm, sweet dog. :D |

| driving home tonight on WA-522 (a.k.a. bothell way) i encountered two people traveling the wrong direction. one was a guy on a little bike teetering along in the street. in my lane. coming toward me. i ran him over (just kidding! sheesh. i swerved around him). the other crazie was in a car and drove past me in the left lane. for some reason it didn't quite occur to me until a few seconds later that that was potentially very dangerous.. i was more confused than anything. luckily it wasn't before long that i spotted a police car driving very quickly toward that direction.
sometimes i wonder if stuff like this really happens or if i'm just hallucinating. i mean, come on people!
